I admit that my blogging has taken a life of its own — I am enjoying it hugely.

Blogmechanics (this site) was my first attempt at blogging, and I quickly found that its very hard to write regularly about something that you don’t actually practice. I abandoned it, and started over when I found a niche that I enjoy writing about.

My background is in coding, and so the practicalities of setting up a website are trivial. The real challenges are in writing, promoting and preseverance. I have gained a lot of respect for those bloggers who are able to write one quality post after another.

Now that I spend a lot of time trying to build up my main blog, I have the occasional insight and idea that doesn’t really fit there, hence I have raised this blog from oblivion.

See this blog as my “meta” blog, a blog about me learning about blogging. Or more accurately my “how to get out of debt” equivalent of “how to build a quality, popular blog”.
